Branding a Non-Profit: Beca Schools

Sometimes a really great non-profit turns into a really great client. That was the case with BECA - Bilingual Education for Central America. The company's mission to promote cultural exchange and affordable cultural exchange in Honduras and Guatemala served as a really great platform for infusing a little culture into their new brand identity system.

 We designed a modern and modular identity system. The primary shape. influenced by the logotype, acted as a sun in the primary identity mark.

 We picked a color palette that represented the flora and fauna of the region it serves.

 We expanded the logo mark and color palette into a set of secondary marks and icons. These served as brand elements that kept communications fresh, fun, and reminded volunteers and donors of the wonderful region of the world the organization focus on.
