Designing for Our Neighbors

One of my favorite things is doing work for local businesses. They might not have the budgets that some of the big guys have, but knowing that I can use my expertise to build the mom-and-pop shops in my neighborhood is, for me, the definition of fulfilling work.

Here are some of my favorite examples of branding and design work that I've done for local neighborhood shops and small businesses. Often with these types of companies, it doesn't take a lot of billable hours to really stand out from the crowd—or to attract one.

I also spent a good chunk of my career living in Chicago, so here's a bit of the work I did for local businesses there.
